General FAQ’s
1. Can I make a claim against my insurance company for my glass replacement?
Yes. If the cash price of your glass is more than your comprehensive deductible, we will handle all processing of insurance claims for you and you simply pay your deductible directly to us!
You have the right to select the company of your choice to perform services on your vehicle. Don’t let insurance companies third party administrators steer your decision. We are on all the insurance companies list of preferred providers.
2. Will my insurance company waive my deductible for rock chip or crack repair?
In most cases, insurance companies will pay for your repairs without charging your deductible. The size of the crack can be no longer than the size of a dollar bill and the chip or star must be no larger than the size of a quarter. Check with your insurance agent if you are unsure about your insurance company’s policy.
3. How long does it take to install my auto glass?
For most windshield replacements, the entire installation takes approximately 1 1/2 hours. We normally will know in advance if an installation will take longer than usual, and will let you know if there are additional charges, etc.
4. How soon can I drive my car after glass replacement?
Door glass installations have no time restrictions, so you can start driving again right away. However, windshields are a very important part of the structural integrity of your car. The Urethane (adhesive) needs time to cure completely before you can safely drive your car away. In the event of an accident, you will want to be sure that your windshield adhesive has cured. The adhesive takes 30 minutes to cure. We use the most advanced products on the market.
